Ok, so everyone has blogged and I've been leaving you all out of the loop. I need to figure out how to do it from my email like Lynn suggests. I'm 3 weeks into my internship and have only done one activity with the kids i'll be working with. Two of the weeks have been training though, so I'm actually feeling more comfortable about being around everyone.
As you all may know we don't have internet, so right now Ash and I are sitting in a Starbucks taking advantage of the AC and internet :) Today we came up to New Britain from New Haven (about 30 min drive that I make every day) to go to a Vintage Auto Show that my work was putting on. We got some great pictures of old fashioned cars that I'll put up soon.
Lately the Oba-Kid-Back Plague has hit me and I've had a really sore lower back. I was reading in a magazine and I'm wondering if it might be a herniated disk, but i think that would probably be a alot more painful than I have. Ash thinks it's because we've started to walk/run more now, but I think my hour commute everyday might have something to do with it.
Ash is still job searching looking for any possible job we can land for the next 2 and a half months, with the only lead being a follow up test at a library for a technician position. But that position seems to be more of a long-term job. We've been keeping our eyes open for a bike for her, but no success yet. It would be nice for her to be able to get around a bit more since i'm gone all day with the car.
I've been waking up at 7am to watch some of the Soccer games that have been happening, the World Cup is always fun to watch.
I think we want to move to Ireland. If we can both find a Grad School to attend out there, we might actually consider going. We're realizing we don't need half of the stuff we left in our storage unit, so we'll probably end up getting rid of most if it at the end of the summer. (Except for our bed because ours is a queen and right now we're sleeping on a full and it's a bit cramped :)
Well that about concludes our update. We're going to see Jack Johnson up in Hartford on July 9th :) And on Aug. 19th we're probably going to go see Ray Lamontagne and David Gray down in New York. Hopefully we can get jobs to afford it :) I guess I better start looking for jobs too!
Pictures will come soon, sorry I've been bad at getting them up!
